December 2-3 @ 7:30pm Channing Murray Foundation Director: Delilah Hansen Assistant Director: Emma Kosnik After Juliet is a play written by Sharman Macdonald set in the period after Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The play follows the story of Rosaline, Romeo’s first fling, and mimics its predecessor with an unrequited love story between Benvolio and its heroine. Rosaline, however, has more auspicious plans: to become the princess of cats – head of Capulet household. Antagonizing her for his twin’s death, Valentine (Mercutio’s brother) continues the Capulet versus Montague animosity in an attempt at protecting Benvolio from heartbreak.
